All Star Concepts was founded in 1994 in Atlanta, Georgia. We began as a service that typed and edited college term papers, theses, and dissertations. We progressed to providing research for individuals and for the business community, while continuing to edit all types of documents.

Our aim is to provide quality research and editing services to meet your need. From hard copy to digital and online documentation, we guide you to your end product. At All Star Concepts, we engage the writer in the editing process.

The founder Marcia Cross-Briscoe, has a Bachelor's degree in English and a Master's Degree in Library and Information Studies, with over 20 years of experience working in these fields. She has written for print newspaper and magazine media and edited for academic journals and magazines. In addition, she has contributed book reviews to literary blogs.

“Inspiration and All Star Tributes”

The inspiration for starting All Star Concepts comes primarily
from 2 sources. My family owned a dry cleaners in Washington,
DC from the late 1940’s to the early 2000’s. I spent a great deal of
my pre-kindergarten years in the dry cleaning establishment that
my father ran on a six-day-a-week basis. Entrepreneurship runs
in the family.

All Star Concepts operated in the Washington, DC area from 2011-2024 and then returned to the Atlanta, Georgia area.

In addition, my son was named after one of the greatest athletes
and humanitarians, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and was fortunate
enough to meet him in 1983.

Basketball and other sports have been an important part of my family for a long time. These 2 factors led to the founding of All Star Concepts in 1994 in Decatur, GA. The desire to merge a sports interest with my English training and librarian training were influences in naming the company All Star Concepts.

The founder, Marcia Cross-Briscoe, has a
background in English and Library & Information Studies with over 20 years of experience in research, writing and editing.
